Circle time

Circle time is a technique that you would like to start your day with your students, given that the various benefits that are achieved by using this technique. It takes 15 min at the start of school day. It aims to develop students skills, communication, making friends, recognition friends' interests and being social.....etc Have your students standing in circle, then start discussion. It's time students have a chance to tell about their feelings, difficulties, and different topics posed by the teacher for discussion. Here teachers can encourage their students share opinions, experiences or may find solution for problems they usually face. Students can communicate, make friendships and be prepared and more excited for rest of the day. Rules must be respected: respect the other and listen while they are speaking, and many different rules you can list to make your circle more beneficial.

Mistake usually teachers do

Teachers are the only, except parents who can discipline children, but sometimes both teachers and parents make mistakes that inconsistent with the instructions they usually give. Teachers ask students to stop tattling on their friends but at the same time they nominate one student of them who called (Aref Alsaf ) who's in charge of tattling on his/her friends, to be punished. Teachers ask students not to shout out but the teachers shout out themselves. they ask students not  to be distracted while they are using their mobiles. and too much of mistakes, may you tell some?

Let's play and learn

For decades, a traditional teaching methods have dominated on education field, but new teaching methods have appeared in the last years. One of these methods was play-based education. everybody knows that play is instinctive, so children would like to play all the time if possible, so that would be helpful whether we depend on one of their interests to teach them. For example, students used to recite the multiplication table orally, but how about making a game or competition ? let's write the operations on the board and the products on cards, then we ask students to make two straight lines and make it as a relay race. Each student has to take a card (a product is written on it) and paste it next to the correct operation and so forth. I think we may need to apply  play-based educational programs  during  classes.  The impact is felt on multiple levels:  improved quality of education delivered in schools and open lines of communication between students and th...

Our schools and the stone age

to make somebody believe you  when you say that school prepare students for future, you would have a look at these facts: - cars in 2017 very modern, but 150 years ago it was a wagon hitched to horse. - phones, mobiles are different with phones 150 years ago. - but what will you say if I tell you that classrooms these days are similar to classrooms 150 years ago; setting in straight lines, raise your hand when you want to speak and etc... I would die when I remember teachers standing in front of 45 students teach them in the same way. 45 students who have different gifts, different dreams and different interests. Fish will believe that it is foolish if we judge it by asking it to climb the tree.
