Circle time

Circle time is a technique that you would like to start your day with your students, given that the various benefits that are achieved by using this technique. It takes 15 min at the start of school day.
It aims to develop students skills, communication, making friends, recognition friends' interests and being social.....etc
Have your students standing in circle, then start discussion. It's time students have a chance to tell about their feelings, difficulties, and different topics posed by the teacher for discussion. Here teachers can encourage their students share opinions, experiences or may find solution for problems they usually face. Students can communicate, make friendships and be prepared and more excited for rest of the day.
Rules must be respected: respect the other and listen while they are speaking, and many different rules you can list to make your circle more beneficial.

  2. This is a nice technique which I would like to implement in my class. We drown in what the curriculum requires us to teach and forget about entertaining yet educational activities. I like the emphasis on the rules too! I'll be trying it sometime soon.

  3. Circle time is a technique teachers should try it with their students. it's good chance for understanding your students deeply, find out which problems do they have in addition helping shy students to share and talk.

  4. Aha.. Interesting technique!! I should try it..
    Because entertainment and fun is very important in the teaching process. Also this type of activity improves students' skills in sharing their ideas freely in respective way. It also helps in creating a social relation "with limits" between the student and the teacher.

  5. Circle time is a technique used to break the ice between students at the beginning of the year, it helps students build their communication skills,teach them how to set rules while playing and respect these rules, it's a nice idea to highlight on

  6. We usually use ice break once we meet for a first time, but circle time is a technique you can use it every day and start you school day with it.

Every circle includes community-building activities in the beginning. Some circles focus exclusively on this task by building and deepening connections among students. Connection can be invited in several dimensions besides the interpersonal.

  8. Circle time is one of the most successful activities that could be done by any teacher. Other than ice breaking activities, it can be used for academic activities such as speaking or even reading to have students share their activities, or game-like activities to have students enjoy what they are learning.
    Remember our first session in this course? Miss Amal used a very similar activity to break the ice between students.

  9. This is an interesting technique. I will try to complement it at the beginning of each week. It helps me to motivate students to give and engage in class and they would accomplish best achievements. Also it helps in building better relationships between students and it is a good start of the day.

  10. Actually I think the main concept of this activity is to make students more closer and friendly , it improves communication between them and the teacher.
    It is an interesting activity that I will use in my domain.
