Mistake usually teachers do
Teachers are the only, except parents who can discipline children, but sometimes both teachers and parents make mistakes that inconsistent with the instructions they usually give.
- Teachers ask students to stop tattling on their friends but at the same time they nominate one student of them who called (Aref Alsaf ) who's in charge of tattling on his/her friends, to be punished.
- Teachers ask students not to shout out but the teachers shout out themselves.
- they ask students not to be distracted while they are using their mobiles.
- and too much of mistakes, may you tell some?
You are right! Many teachers should pay attention to these important notes.
ReplyDeleteReferring to the first point, I am totally agree. I hate the idea of (Aref Al saf)! Always my students tell me, "please teacher choose one of us to be (Arref Al SAf)" My answer is, "Okay lets be all (Arref Al Saf) All of you are (Arref AL saf)! So when I am busy or late each one of you must be (Arref 3a 7alo) hahha ...
It is important to let students take responsibility of themselves. In addition to that, choosing one student from all the class may create jealous and inequality between them.
yeah I think we have to focus on individual accountability, in the other hand teachers are role model to their students.

Deletehi ahmad, that is so true. and this issue usually settles in an unstable emotional state within students. the way we contradict ourselves as teachers and parents infront of students plays a rule in how and what they behave like. parents usually abide their kids to smoke and yet smoke infront of them claiming they are adults. this is an example on what u mentioned.
ReplyDeleteAhmad that is a big problem we are facing in the schools. Teachers should be aware of their values, beliefs and behaviors and avoid imposing values that are inconsistent with their values. Teachers should make the values that we show to the students seen to them, apply and practice the values in front of them.
ReplyDeleteI am one of the teachers who is always careful for the instructions I give to my students. Both need to apply what is said in the classroom, the teacher before the students :). Sometimes, the teacher do mistakes deliberately to see if the students are paying attention. To prevent the problem of making mistakes, we must apply what we are advising students to do.
